| There are many other applications and potential applications - The unit is truly versatile and can be used or adapted for use on machinery, such as refrigerators, pumps, compressors, air conditioning equipment etc. Often all that is required is a few additional components and perhaps a tweaking of the firmware or software.
Where there is no chain of communication, these other applications can be integrated into, for example, an emergency lighting scheme.

Benefits
•It enables a better use of expensive manpower resources by freeing up users’ time on a labour intensive process
•It enables early intervention on time critical processes by providing early warning of failure or potential failure.
|
For Example:
•Refrigerators: it can report when the temperature rises to a critical level and so prevent loss of food, drugs, samples etc. A number of hotels are particularly interested as are a number of police forces who have lost crucial forensic evidence in the past.
•Pumps/ Compressors: Immediate report of failure of business critical operations to the engineer, reducing downtime and obviating the need to have an engineer on constant standby.
•Air conditioning: a large air conditioning company is interested in fitting the system to their units to remotely monitor their clients’ equipment and improve their service levels.
